Fractions of cents Line 7 way too much.

Why is my fraction of cents line nearly $40? I can't find any errors in my calc's.

Nearly $40 would be any number of mistakes. Editing a payroll before saving and not calculating the FICA and Medicare properly before saving. Forgetting to calculate after entering the hours or salary and simply saving. Improper use of non-taxable deductions.

It always has to do with the FICA and Medicare so you will need to review each payroll made during the quarter to find the problem.

Ok I found my error except...
The Employer's Payroll Total Report is correct, but the 941 remains incorrect.
How do I get rid of the error I found & update the 941 to the correct figures?

If you would have told me what you found as the problem, it would have made it easier for me to give you an answer on what to check for. I'll take a wild guess that it has to do with a deduction that you set up. You probably forgot to check the 941 box if it was exempt from FICA. See this page in the help file (Item number 7):

To "void" a check, you delete the transaction. See this page in the help file:
