Quickbooks Export Warning

I exported some pay checks today from PayWindow 9.0.42 to Quickbooks Pro 2010 and although the export seemed to work fine, instead of the usual message listing the checks that got exported, I got the following message listed several times:

The field "Memo" is not supported by this implementation.

That does not seem to be a PayWindow message and I'm guessing it is a QuickBooks message. If the export was successful, I guess you can simply ignore it.

Same warnings this week. I also noticed under the Transactions To Post tab, under the Exported column, the checkboxes were not checked next to last weeks checks that were exported. It used to remember the pay checks that were exported, and have those boxes checked as already exported, which was nice so that exports are not duplicated. The export still seemed to work though.

Just letting you know that nothing has changed in the QuickBooks code in PayWindow for several years now and no other users have reported any warnings like you are getting from QuickBooks so it is your QuickBooks that is popping that up and not PayWindow.

I also have this error. The export was working fine then all of a sudden I received the "memo" error and the transactions are not marked as posted. This is not a quickbooks error as it began after I updated ZPay. Is this a problem with the check format? Did the prior customer edit his checks in the program?

That message is the results that QuickBooks passes back to us after the transfer. It is a QuickBooks message that we are displaying. As I said already, the QuickBooks Transfer code in PayWindow has not been touched in years. Since the transactions are still being successfully posted, just ignore the message. If the message said the transactions failed, that would be a problem.
