I have an employee that after having his taxes processed at H&R Block was told that I am withholding to much.
He Is single claiming 1, what can I do to reduce his withholding? He doesn't want to let uncle SAM hold his money all year.

Thanks
David

Single and Zero will deduct the most tax for an employee. Increasing the number of exemptions will reduce the tax.

I wasn't sure if I could use more than one for his deductions, this is okay even though he is single and files only one deduction?

Make sure you have him complete a W4 Form with the number of exemptions he wants to cover you in case he comes up short at the end of the year and he can't blame you.
