Illinois Income Tax

With the new tax being retroactive to January 1st how do I take care of last weeks check state with holding amount?

Being in Illinois, we are just leaving it and will settle up at the end of year when we file our returns. It's too much of a hassle to add the 2% additional tax for any payrolls already done. And of course, it is allowed, and especially not your fault when the state actually announced that they were not changing their taxes at the end of last year.
