View Full Version : Salaried employee with overtime hours

We have a salaried employee that gets overtime hours for anything over 45 hrs. Enteering hours into the overtime hours did not adjust the gross wages for the overtime rate. For our forst week I added the dollar amount to the commision line and this cahnges the gross. Is there any way to get it to do the same using overtime hours?

No, an hourly employee is the only one that can be used to calculate hours. What you did will work, but it is best to set the employee as an Hourly employee which is what he is so that the 45 hours would equate to the periods "salary" and the use the overtime for the over 45 hours pay.
