We have just changed to this system from a DOS Lotus 123 based payroll program written by a local person who no longer has anybody doing the tax updates. One question that we have is dealing with the Payroll 132 column report. Is there any way to customize this for the our company. There are a lot of items on this sheet that we do not use. Generally we would only use Reg Pay, OT pay, Holiday and Vacation Pay. We also would only use about 5 of the deduction items and of course the tax deductions. With all of the extra unused slots it makes it a little difficult to make the proper notation on our handwrittencheck register.

Sorry but PayWindow is a canned payroll to try and cover as many possible needs as possible and you cannot eliminate any items.

There are two reports that you should print each pay day and save for 7 years in case of a future audit since the IRS wants a paper trail and not a computer program. They are both under Pay Periods in the Report Center and both give you the figures for the Pay Period, MTD, QTD and YTD. They are the Normal 80 and the Employer Totals Reports.
