- I did Payroll earlier today using 9.0.4 and didn't notice any abnormalities in the payroll calcs or in the totals report. (I did not run a tax liablitiy report with release 9.0.4)
- I just installed release 9.0.5 and reprinted the Employer's Payroll Total Report. The FICA calculation for the individuals appear correct (and the same as Release 9.0.4). The employer totals for FICA appear to be in error. It looks like the employer FICA is being calculated against Total Gross Wages and not Regular Pay totals. The Individual FICA deduction is being calculated against the Regular Pay totals. The Tax Liability Report supports this logic when I do the FICA calculations manually using the "Subject to ......" totals in the Liability report.
- Also the Employer Federal Liabilities total and the Total ALL Tax Liabilities totals do not add up to any of the values shown on the Employer's Payroll Total Report. They are off by about 25% to 30%.
