change check number

I would like to change a check number in paywindow to agree with the number on the check. Also, when exporting to quickbooks after not using the print preview to print checks, the check number does not transfer, the employee # is in the space of the check number. The employee name is not transferred to the payee line of quickbooks, it only appears in the memo line.

Unfortunately Intuit does not want to lose money as their payroll is from over $200 to over $2,000 a year so they will not allow other payroll software to post actual "payroll" transactions. Their data transfer tools only allow you to create general journal entries as you see in this page:

So to only spend $40 a year, you accept general journal entries.

When printing checks in PayWindow, you must enter the starting check number before printing them.
