I have a full time employee who is working on a prevailing wage job for us...How do I set him up for the wage pay change right now I have him set up as two separate employees and also is there a way to print out a report to show his taxes taken out under this wage without having to show the regular pay, we are required to fill out forms showing their taxes paid for the Davis Bacon Act Job.

If there is a wage change, simply open the employee in edit mode and change the pay rate.

But you are going to have a problem at the end of the year as with two records for the same person, there will be two W2 Forms which I believe is not allowed under the same Employer ID.

And no there is no way to report the taxes without the wages.

I was afraid of that, he may work 2 days at the Prevailing wage and the others at regular pay scale.
Thank You!

I think I figured a way around it...see what you think...I have my employee set to dept 1 reg pay....then I have dept 2 with the prevailing wage pay..so I input his hours under the prevailing wage and clicked pay...I then hit copy page and took it to Microsoft word and pasted it then printed.(I couldn't find a way to print the screen on paywindow) I then printed this out for my records. went back to pay window and input the hours for his regular pay under dept 1 hit pay...then save... it seems to have worked for what I needed!

Yes that works for what you wanted. In the future you may want to do what is normal practice. Give the wage increase for the next pay period, that way it's a simple adjustment to the wages in the employee settings.
