Wierd problem

I have a really strange occurance that I cannot explain. Maybe you have some insight:

I had one employee on the last payroll of 2009 in which the FICA and Med deductions were incorrect. One employee on one check.. I don't get it at all.

We would need to see your database with a detailed email on what the problem is identifying the employee and explaining what you see. See this for instructions:

It appears that the December 18th payroll for Morgan was edited. As if I open it and click the Pay Button. The FICA and Medicare are correct. But the Federal Tax is different as I am now using the 2010 tax tables.

If I was you I would open that transaction for editing and edit the FICA and Medicare entries and save the record and then print your reports again.

If you ever make a change after calculating, you need to recalculate with the Pay Button.

But for you to correct your error, do not click the Pay Button in the edit instructions above as it will throw off the fed tax like I mentioned. Just save and close after making the edits.
