View Full Version : Forms will not print

I can not get any of the forms to print. I have just installed the 2010 release on a new system. 64 bit proc. win 7, adobe reader 9. I get "error opening this document, file can not be found" with all forms. W2's print but with no form. All worked well on the old system. What am I missing?

I'm Assuming that you are on the computer that PayWindow is installed on as you cannot open it across a network it must be installed on the individual computers.

Exactly which reports exactly can not be printed?

Your assumption is right, I am on the computer that zpay is installed on. W2's print the data without the form. the 940 and 941 give me the file can not be found message. Just a thought, could it have anything to do with the fact that I done a fresh install on a 64 bit system with a new operating system and loaded a file from a 32 bit system? I can open the pdf files in zpay reports from adobe and they open fine but they will not open with the print command in zpay.

I have two computers here that are identical (maybe as it was Adobe 8.0) to your setup with the exception that earlier today since both had problems opening Adobe files in Internet Explorer with a warning I decided to upgrade Adobe. Neither had a problem with the PayWindow Adobe reports, 940, 941, 943 and 944 with Adobe 8.0.

But because of the errors I was getting from Internet Explorer I reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader on the one and paid and installed the upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 on the other. Both still open the files as expected in PayWindow now with 9.0.

Maybe reinstalling Adobe Acrobat will fix the problem on yours since if fixed the Internet Explorer problems with PDF files on these two machines.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate the quick response. I expect that the problem is with Adobe but I don 't have the time to follow through just now. I was able to get what I need for now. The 940 is stored in paywindows report file correctly even as adobe reports that it can be opened. I can open and print the the report direct from the report file with adobe 9.0. I removed adobe from the system and reinstalled it with the same results. When I get the time I will down load a previous copy of adobe and see what happens. I will check back in later. Thanks, Roger
