When setting up to print W2 and 1099 forms, is there a known distance increment corresponding to a change of one unit of measure for the top, side and distance between forms settings? It would help to be able to use a scale on a sample print to measure how far things need to be moved and then convert that measurement to get the correct number to be entered. It seems like every year when I set up to print those forms I have to make quite a few "adjustments" in those settings before I get things to print dead on.

Unfortunately it is not a known measurement as it is different on different printers. On a LaserJet 3550 and a LaserJet 2015 here in my office, the default settings are perfect. Two other printers we used to have were fine too. But different printers and drivers the results may vary.
The settings are stored in the PayWindow INI file and should be there every year when you run PayWindow unless you change computers. Maybe you should take note of the settings and save that in case you change computers in the future.
