Payroll with wrong date/ quarter fix?

Sorry if this has already been asked, I scanned but could not find a thread that answered the question, and this is a time sensitive matter.

An error was made when entering the date of our payroll for 10/2/09. Our new payroll person entered the date they were actually processing the information(9/30/2009). This has created incorrect info for the quarterly reports, as that payroll should be in the 4th quarter instead of the 3rd quarter in which it shows. Can this be corrected even though several payrolls have been processed since then?

Delete the transactions for that date, set the date in PayWindow to the correct date and redo them again. That will fix the problem.

That was the avenue we were going to pursue, but wanted to make sure that it wouldn't corupt the information for the following weeks.
