Transfering employees to new company

Hello,
I am in the process of converting my LLC into an S Corp.
My account advised me to set up a new company for my payroll and at the end of the year the employees will get 2 w2 forms, one from the LLC and one from the newly formed S corp.
My question is can I transfer my employees into the new company rather than having to enter everything all over again.

What you want to do is to make a copy of your company database. Normally located in the Documents\PayWindow Data Files\ folder.

Then rename that copy to the new company name.

The open PayWindow and click on File and Open Company and open that "new" company file.

Edit the Company information to the new company information.

Run the End of Year tool to remove all payroll transactions since you will be starting fresh (you cannot have tow companies with the same data for reporting) with no existing transactions.
