Here are my calculations:

pre-stimulus:
Gross Pay $6000.00
Fed WH 596.67
FICA 744.00
Medi 174.00
Net Pay $4485.03
No. of withholdings 3
for the First qrt of this year.

After I got the new tax tables update (Tax Stimulus package)
post-stimulus:
2nd Qrt and forward.
Gross Pay $6000.00
Fed WH 530.00
FICA 744.00
Medi 174.00
Net Pay $4552.00
No. of withholdings 3

I have omitted State Withholdings intentionally.

When I ran for the Apr month I found out that there was change in the fed withholding. I got confused I purposefully deleted my first Qrt 3 months (Jan, Feb, Mar) transactions not knowing about the tax stimulus. Later, when I realized It was too late. I am trying to regenerate Ist Qrt pre-stimulus transactions. I am not getting it right, because, your software do not support the pre-stimulus withholdings any more. I might have sent wrong 1st 941 to IRS. I even tried to overwrite the numbers of the fed withholding. It won't work. I lost my 1st qrt 941 which I sent to IRS. How do I fix it? I know I will be out of balance and my numbers on the W2 won't match.
Any help Paul?

Thanks

Rick

Well Rick I'm hoping that you have been doing what you are reminded to do after every payroll, making backups. If you are, restore the backup from the payroll before you decided to delete all of those transactions. The redo any payrolls after that pint in time.

That is the easy way.

The next is if you've been ignoring the backup reminder but hopefully have been printing the two required reports each pay day (the 80 column report and the employers totals report) use that information to re-enter all of the payrolls correctly as we calculated them as in "after-the-fact" payroll entry.

If you have not been doing either of the above, you are in real trouble as I do not have a solution to help without either the backups or a paper trail.
