I am wondering if I have set up my accruals in the correct place. I entered all year to date information and all the vacation accruals I entered are now represented with negative numbers that bear no correlation to the numbers I entered. I entered data for the next payroll and the number that is being posted is again a negative number with no correlation to the accrual amount I have set up in the employee record.
Help!

Hi Becky, I would need to see your database to see exactly what you have to let you know what is wrong.
See this FAQ:

That will show you how to get me your database and you need to reference this message thread in the email.

So all can see, after getting your database we found your setup error that caused the abnormal results I will post the findings here.
You forgot to enter the total possible hours in the Accrual Settings. It is entered where the arrow shows in the attached image.
If you look in our help file where it shows how to setup accruals, the default numbered which is normal for 99.9% for a normal work year is 2080.
You also entered the manual Vacation entries as negative numbers from what I see in your transactions, like -80.
You will need to fix each employee's setup and then edit all of the vacation transactions that you manually created. And since the number of possible years was zero, your accruals for any payrolls so far will also need to be adjusted.
