updateable query?

I am attempting to set up PayWindow as a multi-user, multi-station environment with the data files being stored and accessed from the server but being worked on on two different workstations. I was able to make it so all of the data was accessable, however, when one of the workstations attempted to pay an employee in one of the companies an error message was recieved stating "must use updateable query", or something to that effect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on a Vista network here and have never seen such an error so I searched Google for the error message you gave.

It looks like you may not have set permissions on your network.

We have all workstations as users on the server and they log in when starting for the day. So you may need to do the same thing unless you place the data files in a Public Access folder.
