On April 10, I did my payroll in ZPay and then tried to import to Shepherd"s Staff. I could not change my file from csv. to prn. because of a computer set up problem which has now been fixed. But I ended up writing my checks by hand. I have imported the information to Shepherd's Staff, but this is my problem.
The information comes over into my check register for payment.
The amount shown in the register for the check is the net amount due the employee.
But when I open the field to pay the check the amount shown is the total earnings.
The taxes are listed but are not subtracted from the total earnings amount.
What have I done wrong?
My printed report from ZPay shows the correct information and does show the taxes being withheld from the total earnings amount, giving me the correct check amount.
