View Full Version : How to terminate the employee

I am new to this software, I would like to know once you terminate the employee how you can inactive the employee in paywindow so it wont appear on the employee pay list. I only want to see the active employee on the list

When you "delete" an employee they are marked as a type "U" employee for Unemployed. they will be in the database until you run the end of year tool at the end of the year.

During the year you can hide and view them. I've attached two images to help you with this. In the employee list, there is a Filter button that when clicked will show all employees and hide all type U employees. See the image attached named employee-filter for this. When printing reports the folder is the selection Complete. If Complete is selected, all employees are printed including those marked as type U. The normal selection is Current which are those paid for the pay period only. The image showing that toggle is named complete-employees.
