Open this FAQ and read it and then use the link at the bottom of that page which show what most of our reports look like.

What is most important on that linked page, is it tells you the two reports that you should print every pay day and these two descriptions are labeled in bold text to make the information important.

They are the 80 Column report and the Employers Totals report. Those two reports if you had nothing else are really all you need for payroll.

For Printing Checks, see the FAQ titled How do you print checks?:

You really want to become familiar with the FAQ's as they tell you everything you've been asking about and you'd not have to wait for me to point them out to you.

I think maybe the poster was asking how to print checks to the gummint for witheld amounts.

If that was it, I suppose if he really wanted to print those checks via Paywindow he could set up another company named "Tax_Payment" with a some non-employees named "U.S. Treasury" and "Hisstate Dept. of Revenue", etc., and "pay" those employees the amounts due, and then print the checks.

But why bother? "Electronic Funds Transfer" is the way to go to pay those, it saves the cost of a the check, envelope and postage and, at least in our state, lets me select the last possible payment date for those amounts to get lifted from our company's checking account, same as with the Feds.

The Federal site for that stuff is:

See Paul, I'm not as much of a Luddite as you thought.
