TAX question

Paul,
On our quarterly (California) Tax, I need to either create a report showing how much gross wages have not met the $7,000 limit and also something to show the arithmetic...

Gross 10,000.00
Subj to tax 7,000.00 @ .8%

I ran a custom report asking for gross wages, futa ST tax, and then the tax.
I asked for it by employee name. Is this okay to use or do you have something better? I do not want to pay an outside service for a report your program can give.

That is the wages report which if you select for the quarter looks like this:

You can print that for the Month, Quarter and Year.

And also your total liabilities are shown in this report:
