I am in Nevada and in printing quarterly reports for State unemployment income, the income for federal is carried forward to state but for the same employee on a different quarter it does not carry forward (while the other employees do). Any suggestions?

Did that employee earn more that $7,000.00 in the first quarter? That is the taxable limit for Federal FUTA tax.

Yes but my question relates to state OF nEVADA unemployment. I do see that there is a default limit of 26,600 within your program and perhaps that is what is causing the difference. However the State (via voice message to me) is suggesting otherwise. I did want to get your input prior to calling the State back. Thanks

That is true, just like the Federal FUTA tax with a limit of wages to tax at $7,000.00, Nevada has a limit of $26,600.00 of wages that are taxed. If your employee passed that limit, there is no more SUTA calculations on that employees wages.
