A week or so ago, PayWindow stopped being able to print from my wife's machine to the network printer from time to time. The printer is installed properly, and all other apps can print just fine. Paywindow says something about needing to log into the network printer, but like I said, no other app complains. A system reboot sometimes makes it work. Seems unlikely it's directly a PayWindow problem, but I was hoping you might have a suggestion since it's the only app affected. Used to print just fine all the time, no changes to printer or drivers have been made in quite a while.
Also noticing that the window to set up tax tables seems to come up the first time I run PayWindow on a networked machine after a reboot. Not supposed to do that anymore right? It's probably happening when PW is the first app run that goes to the networked drive where the data is since the last reboot... like the system doesn't "see" the drive yet so it thinks it needs to reset it?? Any way to prevent that from happening?
Lastly, if I begged you, or offered you a percentage of the stimulus budget... would it be possible to save the background picture settings permanently so they don't hafta be reset every time the program updates?? ;)
