Problem with 2009 941

Although I can see that 941 2009 form is installed in my program files:
C:\program files\paywindowpayroll\reports, when I switch to Paywindow and select the report center\tax reports\941 form\ 'print preview' , I only get the 2008 941 form as an option.

You have more than one version of PayWindow installed. You really need to find where the extra ones are and get them off of your computer. You should only have one version of PayWindow installed and it should be in the default folder of C:\Program Files\PayWindow Payroll\

If you are seeing the 2008 form and have 7.0.14 or newer installed, you are actually running and older version from a desktop Icon possibly. Look at the title bar of the program you are running as it will show the version number.

it is version 7.0.15

Delete old saved files 941 pdf files as I'm guessing the file is not being overwritten when you pull it up. You see, PayWindow calls the file by it's file name and saves it before opening in Adobe Acrobat. The filename is f941_2009.pdf in the reports folder, so it is impossible unless you saved a file earlier with the same name in your documents folder such as:

a941_1-2008_Sample_Software_Company_pdf

And it is not being overwritten.

I have all the 2008 quarters 941 files in the c:\documents\paywindow data files
I also have 2006 and 2007 941 files in the reports file although I bought the program in 2008

I have a feeling that you are looking at the "saved" file's filename. We forgot to change the naming convention and it is saving 2008 as part of the filename. This has been fixed to use 2009 in the filename. If you print the saved file, it is the 2009 form.

OK, it is. File identified as 2008 but prints a 2009 941

Yes, rename it to 2009 for now and download the update where we fixed the file naming bug.

it's not due till april, but i wanted to check it out after i downloaded the new tax table.
