Moving Transactions

I was wondering if anyone could help me with moving multiple transactions from one company file to another. I have a 2006 transaction that I need to move and 2007 transactions need to be moved to their own year as well as 2009 & 2009. Thanks!

I'm not sure why you would even want to do this, it's the first request like that I've ever seen. What makes you want to "move" transactions to another database?

I've seen databases from small companies that have transactions going back to 2000 in PayWindow. And then there are those that are conscientious that have backup files stored on backup disks you every year they ever used PayWindow that are only for those years because they ran the end of year tool after saving their last backup of the year to their backup disks like I do.

The only way you could do what you asked is to make copies of your database for each year and then using Microsoft Access open the database and manually delete the transactions from the years you do not want in the database for a particular year.

But in the end, there is no need to do that as PayWindow is date sensitive and if the date is set to 2009,as an example, all past years are "invisible" unless you select a pay date for one of those years to print a report.
