changed computers, upgraded to vista, now I can print excel, word and other programs but when i go to print checks in Paywindows it says the printer is not valid.. what do I do now

the printer is the default (only one on system) and it shows in the dialog box as the selected printer

First make certain that you have the latest version of PayWindow installed.

Next I'm guessing that you have a new 64 bit Vista machine but running the old 32 bit printer drivers. Download the current drivers for your printer and delete the printer and reinstall it using the newest drivers from your printer manufacturer's website.

That should fix the problem.
