View Full Version : 940 one pay check not reporting in total

Hello. I am scratching my head....I had one employee paycheck back in August that is not being reported in the end of the year FUTA amount. It is under the $7000.00 cap. It was a small paycheck for a part time employee for less than $60.00 but I am wondering if there is something I don't know or if I should add it to the total manually. :?: Thanks

Take a look at that transaction, is it possible that it was marked as a non-employee? Or perhaps marked as exempt from tax?
Those are the most obvious items I can think of.

Thanks Paul for your quick reply, but those two solutions are not the cause. I deleted and recreated the pay check after making sure the right items were checked. Hmmm. Well, if you have any other suggestions my ears are open.

Send me a backup of that database and in the email, give me the date and name and employee ID of that employee so I can see if I can spot the problem.
