Local Tax incorrect calcalation

Dear ZPAY,

I have entered the local tax % rate and when I do the math it is not the same.
What is the problem. Did I do something wrong?

It sounds like you used our sample NY City file which has a number of exemptions reducing the taxable wages.

You cannot use that as it is just an example for the most complex type of local tax.

You need to create a*NEW* tax record and set it up and then attach to the employee records and it should work as explained in the tutorial titled "How to Create Local Tax Records and Use Them" at http://zpay.com/help
