Restore Problem

I backup weekly. I have not experienced any problems with the "restore" function until I installed the 2009 version. I have experienced this issue on all 2009 versions and I am currently running 7.0.8.

After going thru the steps to perform the restore, I receive all the proper popups along the way and the program acts as if it is actually restoring from the selected zip, and closes all active windows. However the program does not restore and shows the last saved period's data.

Problem occurs with 2008 and 2009 backup zips. I have been using Pay Window since 2002 without incident.

My guess is that you've restored to a folder other than where your database has been residing.

Use the Company Organizer (under the File menu) to search your hard drive for all PayWindow databases. Then you will know where you need to restore to and possibly clean out the other folders that you've duplicated.
