I closed out all of my companies for 2008. Now, on one of them I need to pull up anything the program will let me see for 2008. I can't figure out what those reports might be.
I changed my date to 4th quarter-last year but all I get is "no transactions". I know it's probably obvious as to how to do it and I know I can't have much as I closed the books.
Thank you.

If you ran the end of year tool, it deleted *all* transactions.
If you forgot to print reports after every payroll, then you will need to restore the end of year backup to view. ONLY AFTER making a backup of any current payroll data for 2009 to restore when you are done.

I wanted to recheck 2008 again but I do have paper reports. ...
My problem is the FICA 6.2% and Med 1.45% are not adding up on my W-2's for 2008. Even the payroll for 1/5/09 that I just finished is off. For instance: Reg Pay 943.49, Commission 460.00 Holiday 124.00 for a total of 1527.49. FICA should be 94.70. It reads 93.33. Medicare should be 22.15 and it is on my print out as 21.83. That same mistake for the entire 2008 year is too much for IRS to handle. I can't reconcile my w-2with my 941's. They just show no more than 5 cents adjustment on the quarterlys.

Things to look for are deductions that you may have set as exempt from taxes, employees that went over the limit, improper setup of non-taxable deductions (forget to check the 941 box).
With differences to both Medicare and FICA, I'm leaning towards a non-taxable deduction that you set to be exempt from those taxes.
