How do I get the total "SDI" to print on the W-3 transmittal?

I noticed that the SDI did not print on the w3, but did however print on each employees w2 form.

This is for both 941 and for 943.

Thank you,
Linda

Make sure that the checkbox for "Is there SDI tax" is checked in the Tax Table record for your state.

Paul,

The box "Is there SDI" ic checked. Now what?

The SDI deduction printed on the employees W2's, but NOT on the transmittal (W3).

Boxes are checked on both companies.

Then I'll bet you have accidentally checked the Multiple State Box in the company settings, or the SDI override maybe in the company settings?

Paul,

I checked the companies and neither boxes are checked for multiple or sdi override. I guess I will just type in the total SDI on both W3's

I was very careful setting up the companies and for the life of me cannot figure out why the SDI shows up on employee W2's and not the total page of the W3.

I'd like to get to the bottom of it. If you want me to try, send me a backup of your database using the instructions here:

Reference this message thread in the email body.

Thanks,

Paul,
How do I send you a back up?

One last question:

In printing my 1099's the employer tax ID does not print on the individual 1099's nor the 1096. I'm not sure where to check for this problem. I have the sales reps listed as non employee...should they be listed differently?

I gave you a link to step by step instructions. Look at the link in my message asking for your backup.

Your database will give me the answer to all of your problems.

Got your databases and went over them.

We've been so busy this last week that I'm really tired and should have remembered this. SDI is not reported on the Federal W3 Transmittal form. I had to pull out the form to see that. :(

On the Sale Rep file, the Employer ID printed on the 1099-MISC and the 1096 form as expected. (Starts with 33-5...)

Paul,

Thank you. I didn't know if I had sone something wrong. In our previous 1099's and W3's, the State employer ID # (on all) printed and on the W3 the SDI had always printed. I am coming in Friday morning to update the taxes, before we run our first payroll. This is correct, RIGHT?

Thank you for your time.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE your program. My boss says quick and easy, not complicated.

Happy New Year Paul.

Yes Linda, use the update checker in PayWindow to download and install the 2009 taxes. The password is on the receipt that came with your CD as well as that email receipt from sales@zpay.com that had your registration code.
