View Full Version : pay check stubs
I have an employee that want to have a copy of pay stubs from April 1 thru august 1.
How do I print this information?

All you can do is give him a history report if he lost his check stubs. In the Report Center under Misc. Reports then History, you can set the start date and end date and select the employee to print.

I believe you gave the correct answer Paul, but......
We had an employee who left us a couple of months ago call up and say she needed a copy of her last paycheck stub.
I looked in her record, noted her last pay date and its check number, then changed the program date to her last pay date and printed a "paycheck" for her on plain paper, using her last check number as the starting check number so it stayed the same in her record.
That printed a copy of her last paycheck stub. (I discarded the "check" portion.)
It was OK for creating just one paycheck stub but I sure wouldn't want to have to repetitively go through all those steps to print several months worth of them. :)

The reports Paul referred to gives you exactly what you need, just the pay stubs, for a single pay period or for a range of pay periods. It is under Misc Reports, Pay History. No need to reprint a pseudo-check on plain paper and discard the 'check' portion, the report prints just the stub portion of any paychecks within the time period you specify.
