Yesterday, Wednesday, we received our unlock code, updated the program and also updated our taxes, did the set up and mapped the computers, began entering employees, it seemed to be working just fine.

This morning I came in, clicked on PayWindow and I get a window stating that the taxes need to be updated, that they are not set up on my computer. I do not understand what I have done wrong.

Can you help?

Do you have Norton's AV installed? I have a feeling that if you do, they are blocking the deletion of the paywindow.dz1 file found in the "C:\Program Files\PayWindow Payroll\" folder as I had another user with the same problem.

Manually delete that file to stop the tax table setup from launching. Let me know about the Norton AV question.

Aha! We just figured out what the problem is. In the last update when we fixed a problem with the local tax record not allowing you to "Cancel" out of, we broke the loading of the tax table setup selection tool. I just ran the installer and saw the problem myself.

This will be fixed and posted on-line later today.
