I just started doing my own payroll 2 months ago and I was wondering if somebody can help me on how I should set California withholdings/taxes, etc. on this program.

I use to not worry about doing my own paycheck before until our accounting manager quit her job. Now, I'm left with this. I have no background at all, so please be nice to me.

Basing from my old paycheck, Im being deducted FWT, SWT, Soc Sec, Medicare and SDI.

I just downloaded PayWindow coz my boss said we should try it for 30 days.... I need help in setting it up please....

Under Employee - Employee Edit - Deduction/Taxes, there are deductions with $amounts on it. should i delete it all? are those just dummy amounts?

Under Company - Deductions - should I uncheck all of the boxes there?

what about SUTA Rate/SDI Override? should i leave it all blank?

I think once I get that portion of the set up taken cared of, I should probably be ok.

Thank you guys!

See this message thread that was posted today as it shows you where to enter the overrides.

The State Income Tax is already in the system.
