After installing the new tax table update, I am getting an error when trying to enter info in for employees.

The error is dbisam engine error #11010 table or backup file ppftax08 does not exist.

What have I done wrong

That means you did one of two things. In the Tax Table Wizard, you selected Do NOT Install or you unchecked one of more of the items (Federal, State or Local). The first time installing 6.0.10 or newer, you MUST install all tax tables.

You will need to install from the Download page on the website, use the Download Assistant. This time make certain that you install the tax databases properly. (Do NOT deselect any tax table choices or select the "Do NOT Install" button.)
