    Default Third Party Sick Pay

How do I enter third party sick pay for an employee? Can I set the employee up using a different employee ID# for just the sick pay reporting and W-2 at year end? Your help is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

Is the Third Party Sick Pay taxable? If it is not you can set it up similar to auto reimbursement. You cannot have two W2 Forms on an employee from the same EIN.

Since PayWindow does not have additional "pay types", the only suggestion I can tell you is to use the Bonus Pay item. Since it is exempt from state tax, after doing a regular pay and calculating the taxes, enter the dollar amount in the bonus field and make note of the state taxes and click the Pay Button to recalculate the taxes and then edit the state tax to be what it was before recalculating press the tab key to recalculate the net check and save. At the end of the year you will need to edit the W2 Form if needed.
