    Default the Continue Button

    Greetings:

I seem to be missing the "Continue" button on the Time Panel as well as the Time Billing Window.

It appears I'm in the latest version according to the Upgrade/update review under Help/About 1.0.19

The ability to pause is greatly needed while on the clock. Thanks for your help in this matter!

There is no "Continue" as there is no "Pause". The time is tracked by the Start date and time and the Stop date and time. That allows you to stop, and then start on another project time and then stop and return to the other.

So it is just "Start" and "Stop" and the software takes care of the rest.

I purchased TimeBilling as it was pretty much comparable to Timeslice that I had been using for many years. This picture in your advertisement was pretty much part of the inducement to purchase your product.

Thanks for pointing that out, I'll have to get a new screenshot. All that button did was the exact same thing as the Stop button which is why it was pulled as no need for redundancy.

One of the reasons for the pause button in Timeslice is to be accurate and fair while on the clock.

Is there a procedure to manually update or manually enter in the time/date for each period & task? One issue that I've been trying has to deal with a 11:15am start time from a month ago on a site visit with a stop clock time at about 1:15pm (late morning to early afternoon). However the end time refuses to be manually configured and winds back up at the start time.

Any thoughts or direction would be gratefully appreciated.

The edit tools library we use has a bug in it and we are aware of it and as soon as we get an updated library, the fix will be in the next release.

The fix will be in the next release....

I'm sorry Paul....I won't be here any longer. The work arounds for the latter program cost me more on the clock than just buying another time keeping program. The new time keeping/billing program will have the pause/continue selection that I originally purchased with your program...or at least, the photo-displays indicated an item that no longer existed by the time I purchased.

since you didn't offer to refund my purchase upon the first item that started this thread...although you acknowledged that you were in the wrong for not having corrected advertising...you can expect to read the comments threads as I post the reviews of my opinion of your program. Hyperbole about things to do and things you should have done has made this purchase a waste in time and money. Thanks for your responses...others need to know that you recognize your issues but just don't seem to act on them.

Hi Dan, as I told you on October 10th there was a bug in the update we received from the data entry tools we used. The problem became a major hurdle and we ended up using the vendor we use for TimeClockWindow which means a complete rewrite of TimeBillingWindow.

I have you and another customer that reported the edit problem and was going to let both of you know when it was ready. I've been testing for the last week now and we are getting close to release fixing bugs that popped up with this rewrite of the software.

I'm sorry you couldn't wait but you can download and use it once we get it completed as I will notify you.
