You can override the Vacation Accruals system if our formula does not fit your situation. Simply check the checkbox to use the accrual system and enter a negligible number to use for the annual accruals like seen below with 0.001 and the normal base of 9000000 (yes 9 million hours) and save the record.

Then add an accruals transaction as seen below by selecting the employee, checking the Add Vacation Leave and enter the number of hours to allocate to the employee. That will give them the credit of hours and the hours will be reduced when you enter the Vacation Hours to use when paying them for their vacation time on a pay day.
