When you install a PayWindow update, we default to the sample company. Just click on the menu for File and Open Company and select your company file from the list. Hint: We use paywin.dxi as our sample company name, your file most likely will have your company name showing. An example is "Acme Tool Company.dxi".

Also the default folder for data files prior to the release of Windows XP was:

C:\Program Files\PayWindow Payroll\

We started using the new Windows standard storage area shortly after XP was released which is:

My Documents\PayWindow Data Files\

You most likely will find your data in one of those two folders.
