A user was not able to update PayWindow for a number of months and he wrote the following:
"I don't think I've been able to get any of the updates to work. I've got a whole bunch of the downloaded executable updates but they would never seem to update correctly. Have tried to do a right click run in the directory but that didn't seem to work either."
I showed him a screenshot I took after right clicking on the setup program and selecting Properties to show him the file size to be sure he was getting 100% of the download. By doing the same with his downloaded files, he solved his problem and wrote back the following:
"Looking at this Properties graphic is what solved my problem. It turns out that under Properties, the program and update files showed up as being blocked in the Security section (below Attributes). Clicking on the unblock option enabled the .exe update program to effect the installer. The program is now up to date (v14.0.14) and the 941 printout is what it should be. I'll check my browser and antivirus settings to see if there's something I inadvertently enabled."
See the highlighted in yellow part of the screenshot below for what he saw. Apparently his antivirus program did not trust the setup and he did not override the warning thus blocking the setups from working.

Simply click that Unblock button and then run the setup package.
