In PayWindow select Payroll and then Employee

Then if you do not see the employee in the list, the filter is set to not display employees marked as Unemployed. Click the Toggle button to change the view as seen below.

Then locate the employee that you want to restore that was marked as Unemployed and double click on the employee to open in Edit mode as seen below.

Then click on the Pay Tab and change the Employee Type from Unemployed to whatever they were before. Click Save and Close when this has been done.
