Dear Paul,
Struggling with TimeClock, especially the overtime feature.
First; though, Time clock is installed on three of my computers on the network. Often for an employee tio sign in the program asks for the administrative password. I'd like to keep that a secret, if I can. How to fix?
Second; One machine will (it seems) with the first use of time clock in the morning refuses to load/display TimeClock clicking the taskbar or any shortcut icon. It even refuses to load if the exe file is double clicked out of explorer. The machine has to be re-booted (It typically is left on 24 hours a day.)
Now. Overtime. I've read the few other posts and attempted to follow the instructions given to those users, like making the weekly hours 40. Still the calsulated overtime for some, but not all employees confusing.
Examples: wf a 26 per year pay period (q two weeks)
T hours OT1 OT2 Actual hours
Employee A 65.01694 15.86472 15.86472 65.48
Employee B 60.9675 34.41361 34.41361 71.40
Employee C 54.08472 25.94 25.94 74.92
Employee D 55.03972 23.09667 23.09667 51.05
Employee E 64.34917 71.32917 71.32917 68.48
Other employees appeared accurate.
Actual hours are derived from my previous time clock program (currently running in tandom wf TimeClockWindow). Employees are familiar with that program, so some discrepancies in total time may be due to non familiar situation with TimeClockWindow, sign in/out at slightly different times and re-occuring difficulties getting TimeClockWindow to load.
What am I doing wrong?
DrK
